Shantel Lloyd
Practice Manager
Shantel is our Practice Manager and is new to the veterinary industry, having moved over from fashion retail management. Her main hobbies are sport related as she trains at the gym regularly and is a qualified netball umpire. She has a huge passion for animals and has a chihuahua called Chloe who helps run the practice and has recently bought a European Sport Horse foal called Poppy.

Liam Quinn
Clinical Director
Liam qualified from University College Dublin in 1993 and started his veterinary career in Magherafelt, before returning to his native Mournes in 1997 to establish Mourne Veterinary Clinic. He is married with two children, and lives on his family farm where he breeds pedigree Charolais cattle. The family pets include three miniature horses, Bella the cat and Muffin the rescue dog.

Jason Megarity
Veterinary Surgeon
Jason graduated in 2017 from Glasgow University and after working in England for four years, returned home to Armagh before finally joining the team in 2022. He is married with two kids and enjoys helping on the family dairy farm in his free time and occasionally makes it up the Mournes with his crazy dogs Hugo and Peggy!

Jade Heron
Veterinary Surgeon
Jade graduated from University of Liverpool in 2023. She is originally from Newtownards and has a lovely beagle called Popcorn. In her free time she helps her dad show their prize-winning Charolais cattle.

Stephen Megaw
Veterinary Surgeon
Stephen lives in Hilltown and joined the practice in 2024 after graduating from University of Surrey and having carried out years of placement with us. He enjoys helping out on the family farm and plays badminton in his spare time.

Lisa Cromie
RVN
Lisa joined the team 2005, and is a fully qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse and a trained pet health counsellor. At home she has Winnie, her miniature schnauzer.

Sarah-Jayne Trainor
RVN
SJ joined the team in 2023 after graduating from Dundalk Institute of Technology. She has an interest in small animal anaesthetics and inpatient care. Outside of work she enjoys walking her dog Roxy and competing her horses.

Jayne Annett McKee
Receptionist
Jayne has worked at Mourne Veterinary Clinic for more than half her life. She is married with two children and three grandchildren. She has a love for animals with a dog, hens and cats at home.

Leanne Wilson
Receptionist
Leanne enjoys spending time on her family farm rearing sheep and calves. She is kept busy with her four boys.
