Community vets in beautiful County Down

As a mixed practice nestled in rural County Down, it’s essential we understand the way of life of our pet owners and farmers.

Our small team includes locals who know the area and its people. We’re passionate about our community, and we all work together to ensure we provide not just a top service, but one catered specifically to our neighbours and clients.

Put into practice, that means we ensure our vets are genuine mixed practitioners, with strengths in different areas, allowing us to collectively offer the best expert advice in both small and large animal cases, while also delivering a genuine out of hours service, where whichever vet is on call can treat any species with any ailment.

It means we offer a genuine 24/7, 365 days a year service, opening our practice on Saturdays from 9am to 2pm, and hosting all of our diagnostic equipment, operating and hospitalisation facilities on site – meaning no transfers between distant branches are necessary.

It means we always have one of our vets available for a chat at front of house, should a quick word ever be needed.

Through all of this we’ve built up a strong and trusting rapport with our farmers and pet owners, and we will do everything we can to ensure this continues to be the case.
